This year, Beta teammates got creative: selling swag, hosting paint nights, and partnering with vendors and subcontractors to raise both funds and awareness. The excitement carried into Beta’s 4th annual Throw for a Cure, a company-wide jambalaya lunch and cornhole tournament that united teams across the Crest Industries family of companies for friendly competition and a final fundraising push.

The real driver behind this year’s success was the focus on the “why.” Beta’s message stayed simple: get involved, give what you can, and support this cause because it’s the right thing to do. That spirit of shared purpose and the commitment to help families affected by blood cancer powered every dollar raised.
Beta’s fundraising efforts culminated at the San Diego Light The Night Walk, where lanterns glowed along the bay front in a moving display of remembrance, hope, and support for those touched by blood cancer.

For more than a decade, Beta has stood alongside Blood Cancer United to bring light to the darkness of blood cancer. What began as a team tradition has grown into a lasting partnership built on compassion, community, and the belief that together, we can power more tomorrows.
