PINEVILLE, La.— Early Saturday mornings in downtown Pineville are usually quiet, but this past weekend, the community hit the streets with bright smiles, wagons, and running shoes for the annual Red Wagon 5K and 1-Mile Wagon Pull hosted by Cenla Runners Heroes. The event raised $25,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, bringing hope to children and families fighting childhood cancer.

Collin Sandel, Beta Estimator, and his daughter racing for a cure.

Beta was proud to join Cleco as a co-title sponsor, helping make this inspiring day possible. From the youngest wagon-pullers to seasoned runners, participants showed up in full force to support St. Jude’s mission of providing cutting-edge treatment at no cost to families.

Cenla Runners Heroes, the driving force behind the Red Wagon 5K, continues to make a remarkable impact through their annual fundraising efforts and participation in the St. Jude Memphis Marathon. Their dedication to helping children everywhere is a reminder that every mile, every donation, and every act of kindness truly makes a difference.

“It’s amazing to see so many people come together for one purpose — giving kids and families hope,” said a Beta teammate. “We’re honored to support Cenla Runners Heroes and the life-changing work of St. Jude.”

Beta’s commitment to advancing hope and healing doesn’t stop there. The company is also supporting Blood Cancer United’s Light The Night initiative for the 15th year in a row, helping fund critical research and support for families affected by blood cancer.
