Community is an important part of Beta’s culture, and we recently found a way to support a local Louisiana school district by providing them with a set of phones we no longer needed.
When our Pineville office upgraded our phones from the old copper system to a new VOIP system, we had approximately 90 phones that we were no longer using. Beta Office Manager Stacey Hayes searched the community for someone who could use them. When she found that the Grant Parish School District used this type of phone and would gladly take them, she coordinated the donation and dropped off the phones with the help of two other Beta employees.
This story is just one small example of how our people live out our culture of growing our community and finding creative solutions to challenges every single day.
