At Beta, turning challenges into success is part of our DNA. So when the pandemic limited opportunities for in-person interaction in 2021, Beta sought new ways to connect with our customers. One of our solutions was to create and present a webinar.
Our team presented the Agile by Beta® webinar “Revolutionizing Substations: A Better Way To Design + Build” to customers twice in 2021. In this webinar, Beta introduced its Agile product family as a solution for customers who needed to build substations faster, safer and at a lower cost.
Earlier this week, Beta received a Lantern Award for the webinar in the "Tier One: Long Term Strategic Programs, Marketing" category at the annual conference of the Southern Public Relations Federation (SPRF). The Lantern Award is the top-tier award in this regional competition and recognizes outstanding communication and public relations work. Entries are judged by a panel of PR professionals outside of the SPRF region, and scores are based on demonstrated research, sound strategic planning, creativity and metric-driven results.
In March, Beta also received a Cypress Award from the Central Louisiana chapter of the Public Relations Association of Louisiana (PRAL), recognizing the Agile webinar in the category of Community Relations / Corporate / External Communications. The Cypress Award is the top-level award for the PRAL Central Cypress Awards program.
The webinar was a team effort that involved Beta’s business development, marketing and Agile teams, as well as the Crest marketing team. Webinar participants experienced a virtual walk-through of a 3D Agile substation project design and received an in-depth explanation of how Agile by Beta® leverages Factory-Built Substations.
