Beta was proud to sponsor Fluor’s annual Golf for Greenville tournament in South Carolina. The event raised $450,000 for local charities including The Family Effect, Goodwill Industries, Safe Harbor and Meals on Wheels.
The Family Effect works to reduce addiction as a leading cause of family collapse and harm to children by raising funds and recruiting volunteers for effective, research-based programs for families and children at The Phoenix Center of Greenville.
Safe Harbor is a nonprofit organization that provides safe shelter, counseling and advocacy for victims of domestic violence as well as leadership for education and prevention efforts throughout its four-county area in South Carolina.
Goodwill Industries is committed to helping people become independent through education and training that lead to employment. In the past year, the organization touched more than 48,000 lives in the Greenville area and placed more than 10,000 people into employment.
Meals on Wheels of Greenville enhances the lives of homebound individuals by providing nutritious meals, personal contact and related services to seniors throughout Greenville County.
