Crest Industries, the holding company for Beta Engineering and five other companies that are either manufacturers, suppliers or distributors in the electrical utility industry, has acquired the assets of Precision Cutting Specialties, Inc., based in Eunice, Louisiana.
With a total of seven business subsidiaries, Crest Industries serves a global market of customers in the electric utility, commercial and industrial electrical contractor, and forestry industries. The 55-year-old company pursues a strategy of vertical integration to bring quality products and services to customers.
Precision Cutting Specialties (PCS) is a service center for companies in need of cutting, machining and fabrication work for several different markets, including the oil and gas industry, utility industry, and automobile industry. The company’s future plans involve building a new production facility in Eunice, purchasing state-of-the-art machining centers, and expanding current cutting and fabrication capabilities.
The purchase will enhance the ability of both Crest Industries and PCS to provide high quality goods and services to meet the increasing demands of the broad range of industries serviced by the two companies.
