Beta helped “Light The Night” in the fight to cure blood cancers by sponsoring a Leukemia & Lymphoma Society walk in San Diego. Beta’s team participated in the November two-mile walk, which funds lifesaving research and offers support for people battling cancer. This year’s event included 2,676 participants and raised $915,000.
This is the fourth year that Beta Engineering has supported the walk. In September, LLS hosted "Fish for a Cure" in the waters off of San Diego. Beta employees joined members from local utilities for the day-long fishing event.
Some 175 Light The Night Walks were held as part of the LLS’s 2016 national campaign, raising $68.5 million. Beta is proud to continue supporting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
