Beta was proud to sponsor Fluor’s Golf for Greenville charity golf tournament in South Carolina. The 2016 event set a new record by raising $600,000 to give to four local non-profits, including the Meyer Center for Special Children, Rebuild Upstate, The Children’s Museum of the Upstate and The Walker Foundation.

The Meyer Center for Special Children is dedicated to helping children living with disabilities reach their maximum potential. The school plans to expand and renovate their playnasium and conference room.

Rebuild Upstate creates safe, healthy and sustainable home environments by repairing and improving existing homes for low-income and elderly residents. The group plans to use the grant to purchase a truck, trailer and additional home improvement tools for their projects.

The Children’s Museum of the Upstate provides interactive learning experiences for children to develop a lifelong love of learning. The museum will purchase Flexhibits to provide hands-on learning experiences for museum visitors.

The Walker Foundation supports the South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind. Funding from the grant will provide a much needed sensory playground for hearing and vision impaired students at the school.
